Believe it or not, Britain is one of the most kid-friendly destinations out there. If you want to make sure that your kids make the most out of their trip, or if you want to ensure that you find a destination that suits the whole family, then the only thing that you have to do is take a look below.
Jurassic Coast
The great thing about the Jurassic Coast is that it spans from Exmouth to Studland Bay. It was actually the first UNESCO World Site in England and it has been there for over 185 million years. The great thing about doing a road trip in this location is that your kids can build sandcastles before going sailing and more. They can also go and visit the Durdle Door too. If you have kids who have a thirst for history, then why not take them to Dorchester for the afternoon so they can see the Dinosaur Museum?

Cornwall
Another beautiful place that you can visit would be Cornwall. This is packed full of various family attractions and there are also a number of theme parks too. You will see golden beaches, aquariums and even zoos. On top of that, you also have the world-famous Eden Project. It is highly recommended that you begin your road trip in St Austell and then go to Newquay. From there, venture into Tintagel Castle. You can make this your very own adventure by combining it with the trip above if you want your trip to last two weeks or longer.
North Yorkshire
If you want to have the best holiday then you should try and explore holidays in Yorkshire. The great thing about Yorkshire is that it is home to the dales, two national parks and tons of hiking trails. There are many road trips that you can take, and you can even go to the Jorvik Viking Museum as well if you want. If you can, plan a pit stop at Scarborough, and you will soon find that you can have the best time ever.
Snowdonia and North Wales
If you have teens or older kids, then you should know that this is one of the best destinations out there. This is especially the case if you can spend a week or more on the road. You can have an action-packed adventure at Snowdonia, and you can then go to North Wales after. If you want a good trip, then start at Aberdyfi and then go to the coast at Conwy. When you do this, you will be travelling around 72 miles, but at the end of the day, there are heaps of detours that you can take. A lot of it depends on your personal taste. It is highly recommended that you visit some of the top destinations such as Lake Bala, and even Snowdon itself. You can take the railway right to the summit if you want to take in some of the real adventures that there are to be had up there, so keep that in mind.
