Tired of all the wacky CBD ideas without a purpose? Seems like some companies are just hopping on the CBD wagon and creating literally anything with CBD. What’s the point of a CBD mascara? How many different versions of CBD oils are there? It personally burnt out in CBD gummies and CBD creams, so I’ve been looking for something new that actually makes sense. Well, thankfully, CBD isn’t falling victim to monotony but is instead kicking it up a notch for 2020. There are great new ideas that we’re going to fill you in on so you can be on the lookout for cool CBD trends that are innovative and brilliant!
Makeup Line for Women of Color
We have seen that there isn’t much representation for people of color on the media, so it’s no surprise that there’s a shortage of minorities that are business owners or even simply the face for popular brands. Well there’s a treat in store for those who are interested in promoting diversity especially within the beauty industry. There’s talk of a few luxury skincare lines that will be specifically for women of color, by women of color. Isn’t that awesome?
Pain Relief Products
So we already know that CBD is very well known for being a great natural pain reliever. We typically hear about tinctures and capsules, creams, etc. Coming to stores near you are a new range of innovative pain relief products that are CBD-based. To give you guys a better idea, there will be roll-on products that are specifically intended to treat menstrual cramps, aching feet, and headaches, and even essential oil and herb infused CBD full body rubs available. Those are sure to come in some divine scenes so keep an eye out for new and creative pain relief products to meet a variety of needs.
Certificate of Authenticity
Another trend that’s in the rise is that consumers are demanding to know exactly what they’re getting in their CBD products. They want the full gamut; that means they would like to know up front how much CBS is in their product, whether it’s full spectrum (includes CBD, THC, terpenes, plant matter, etc.) or an isolate (purest form of only), and of the CBD is organic. This means that brands will have to start furnishing these certificates of authenticity to distinguish themselves from the rest. This is seemingly tedious from the outside looking in, but it’s actually a great idea because customers shouldn’t be at risk in case they have issues such as a THC sensitivity, legal restrictions in their state, or exposure to harmful toxins if the CBD wasn’t grown organically.
Well we’ve done most everything you can do with CBD- eaten it, rubbed it on, drank it, etc.; but have you ever smoked it? Likely coming to a dispensary near you are CBD pre rolls. A pre roll is a set amount of CBD flowers that are rolled into a piece of cigarette paper and prepared prior to consumption. This is seemingly going to be a big hit amongst the CBD community because it can be a great way to stop smoking tobacco, and since it doesn’t have any THC in it, it won’t get you high. CBD is known to treat anxiety, pain, sleeplessness, and more, so being able to grab a pre roll to help mellow out will be huge.
Brand-owned Hemp Farms
A lot of companies are expected to begin acquiring the necessary licensure to own and operate a hemp farm. That’s big because it’ll give brands the ability to have more control over their products. They can regulate the organic nature of the hemp growing process to ensure that they’re selling high quality CBD products to consumers. This may be a bit of a problem for farmers who have been counting on these companies to choose then as a reliable supplier, but hopefully it will also increase collaboration opportunities for brands and farmers alike.
There’s a lot of big things happening in the CBD market and users should always do research on what’s new and whether it’s worthwhile. There’s a ton of good companies out there, but we recommend one on particular that has stellar customer service and a nice variety of CBD products.
