A Trip Down Memory Lane: Creating Wedding Keepsakes

20 August 2021 by threewords

Your wedding should be one of the most magical days of your entire life. You’ve met the one, and now you and your partner are publicly declaring your love for one another and celebrating with your family and friends.

So, you’re going to want lots of keepsakes to take away from the event. There are a few obvious options, such as hiring a professional photographer or videographer to capture the day’s events on film. But there are a few other, unique ways of creating sentimental keepsakes for both you and your guests to look back on nostalgically a few years down the line. Here are some of our favourites.

Photo Booth Guest Books

Most weddings will have a guest book set up for everyone to leave their best wishes for the happy couple. But make yours extra special. Combine a fun photo booth experience for your guests with the creation of a unique and intimate guest book and you’ll often be able to get two copies of all the prints so your guests can take one home too.

A good way to see what is available in your area is to try Googling something along the lines of Photo Booth Rental Fort Worth then you can find a great company that is right for what you want at your wedding.

You can ask guests to stick one of the images into your guest book and request that they sign or leave messages around their picture! By the end of the day, you’ll have a guest book like no other! Not only will you be able to re-read your guests’ wishes time and time again, but you will also be able to see exactly how they were on the big day. Perfect!

Preserving the Bouquet

You may think that the bride’s bouquet is one of the most perishable items from the big day, but more and more people are deciding to preserve theirs in some way or another. There are a few different options that allow you to keep the bouquet forever (and not in a Miss Havisham-esque way). The first is storing them in a shadow box. This can then be hung on your wall for years to come. There are plenty of brilliant tutorials out there that will guide you through the step by step process of preserving your beautiful flowers. A second option is to dry your blooms, then stick them in a scrapbook of some sort. This is perhaps more a simple method of preservation but can have equally stunning results.

These are just a couple of the possibilities available to you when it comes to preserving remnants of your big day. Follow your imagination and get creative for beautiful keepsakes that will last years down the line.

This is a collaborative post.
